The Atlanta Botanical Garden has purchased the former Cantoni property on the Atlanta BeltLine in Virginia-Highland for $13.5 million. The ~2-acre property is located just down from Piedmont Heights on Monroe Drive at Cooledge Avenue and Kanuga Street, across the street from Park Tavern, close to Atlanta Botanical Gardens and Piedmont Park.

Bridge announced for linking Ansley Mall to forthcoming BeltLine, part of Selig's plans for creating new BeltLine “front door” behind 1960s mall.

We congratulate our favorite Japanese restaurant, Nakato! Fifty years in business – especially in the restaurant industry – is impressive, as is the Nakato family behind this powerhouse. 

PiHi resident Spalding Nix was recently interviewed by Lois Reitzes on WABE's City Lights about his art gallery's current show, The Nature of Reality, on view through mid-November!

Unfortunately, ROXX Tavern will not be reopening, but PiHi gains a new eatery as Six Feet Under relocates its West Midtown location.
