    Atlanta BeltLine gets $11 million from ARC for Southside and Northeast Trail construction

    A portion will directly fund construction on the Northeast Trail – Segment 3, which will connect from the Northeast Trail at Mayson Street, through the Armour-Ottley commercial district, and to the Northwest Trail at Peachtree Creek. Segment 3 is anticipated to go into construction in 2024.

    Ansley Mall has applied for a permit to begin site work for a bridge across Clear Creek connecting the mall to the BeltLine.

    Atlanta Police have arrested a man and charged him with making terroristic threats against two of the city’s popular LGBTQ bars, including Felix's in Piedmont Heights and The Heretic on Cheshire Bridge Road.

    The Atlanta Botanical Garden has purchased the former Cantoni property on the Atlanta BeltLine in Virginia-Highland for $13.5 million. The ~2-acre property is located just down from Piedmont Heights on Monroe Drive at Cooledge Avenue and Kanuga Street, across the street from Park Tavern, close to Atlanta Botanical Gardens and Piedmont Park.

    Go say "Hello! Welcome!" to Peachtree Aikikai! They just moved in next to Ultimate Bodies by Carlos and Doug's frame shop. 

    Before they officially open, you're invited to stop by for a sneak peak! There are benches for your viewing pleasure! The kids class is 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays; adults at 7pm Monday through Thursday.

    Once they officially open, give them a try for free - 10am most Sundays (rsvp required).
