Three Piedmont Heights restaurants are eligible for a special grant – Nakato, Smith's Olde Bar, and The Colonnade.
The "Backing Historic Small Restaurants" grant helps with exterior and online presence and is presented by American Express, in partnership with the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

After more than 25 years at Morningside Village, the only organic farmers market in Atlanta is now in the parking lot at Morningside Presbyterian Church (1411 N. Morningside Drive).
The Saturday market is open year-round from 8-11:30 a.m. rain or shine and has some of the freshest produce from locally owned, Georgia farms. Shop the Morningside Farmers Market.
