Introduction to the Foundation: The Piedmont Heights Community Improvement Foundation (PHCIF) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable nonprofit corporation with a Board of Directors made up of local residents and representatives from the business community. Its mission is to raise funds for the "...preservation of the rich heritage of Piedmont Heights, the enhancement of its physical assets, and the betterment of its common welfare."
Since our founding in 2013, we've fundraised more than $40,000. One of the most significant projects supported by the Foundation is Gotham Way Park and the new playground equipment. For more information, visit our page here. To learn the ways in which we have been able to fundraise, visit our 2021 annual presentation: Ways in which we fundraise.
