PHCA, Piedmont Heights residents, and neighbors are invited to attend this meeting regarding Rock Spring Presbyterian Church re-zoning requests. Updated Rezoning Request The purpose of the meeting is to discuss a revised site property plan for Rock Spring Presbyterian church. Updated Plans will be available at the meeting. PD-H Atlanta, GA Code of Ordinances (1).pdf Application from Hedgewood Homes to rezone 3.5 acres of the Rock Springs Presbyterian Church property, at 1824 Piedmont Avenue. Application requests rezoning from R-4 to MC-3 in order to build 22 detached single family homes. November 28th at 7:00 p.m. at Hillside Center, 1301 Monroe Drive so that the zoning committee and members of the community can learn more about the Rock Spring Presbyterian Church proposal on the sale of some of their property. Hedgewood is asking for the property to be rezoned from R4 to MR-3. Currently, the application is scheduled to be heard at the City of Atlanta Zoning Review Board on January 5 or January 12, 2017. PHCA Board members and PHCA neighbors are invited to attend and are urged to attend PHCA’s Board meeting and NPU-F meeting. BACKGROUND: Don Donnelly of Hedgewood Properties has met with the Director of Planning for the City of Atlanta for an informal review of his proposal for a rezoning that will allow for the development of 22 new homes on the property that he is buying from Rock Spring Presbyterian Church. Don proposed changing the zoning from an R-4 Single Family Residential District to MR-3.
