Nearby Narcotics & Guns Arrest
After numerous reports of suspected drug deals occurring at the Valero gas station (2448 Cheshire Bridge near I-85), the City of Atlanta Police Department (APD) set up surveillance during September and October. They observed a particular individual moving between the nearby apartments and the gas station to sell meth. The APD Narcotics Unit made several undercover purchases during this time. During late October, they executed a search warrant, made 2 arrests, and inventoried more than 550 grams of meth, 30 grams of cocaine, and 500 grams of marijuana, and small amounts of other drugs. They also confiscated 11 pistols and rifles. We are grateful to Major Mitchell, Commander of Zone 2, and his officers for the successful execution of this operation. Also, reminder about Camera Registration with APD (great for Ring doorbells, Arlo cameras, and more). More info here.
