Rumors About Toxic Powder on BeltLine

On Wednesday, some info was circulating about a potentially toxic powder in the Inman Park area of the BeltLine that killed two dogs.

Turns out the substance was normal bleached flour, which is not toxic. So TBD on what those two dogs died from, but it seems to be unrelated.

ATL Gas Light Project Complete

It's officially complete! The Atlanta Gas Light project that begin in July 2021 to upgrade the natural gas line that runs underneath Piedmont Road through Piedmont Heights and north into Buckhead is officially complete.

According to their email: In December of 2022, Atlanta experienced record cold temperatures and our pipeline system delivered more energy than in any period in OUR HISTORY. We did not experience any disruptions to natural gas service during this time, and that’s largely due to the pipeline improvements of this project and others we have completed.
