Gotham Way Park Cleanup Day THIS SATURDAY!
Please join us for an impromptu spring clean-up day in Gotham Way Park on Saturday, March 25, at 10am. Pizza for lunch too! RSVP
We will be doing two things:
Removing kudzu and other invasive vines that are climbing on mature trees in the park, which is very bad for the health of our mature hardwood trees
Sawing wood from a fallen tree and moving dead wood/branches to the curb for removal by the city.
If possible, please bring any helpful tools, gloves, saws, shears, etc. Consider wearing long pants and sleeves, as there may be poison ivy. |

ATLDOT & Armour Yards
THANK YOU to PiHi Alliance, our sister organization for our local business community! Thanks to their dedication and determination, (a.k.a. three years of working with Atlanta DOT and Department of Watershed), they've initiated a long-term solution to the never-ending potholes and flooding on Armour Drive at the underpass heading to Armour Yards.
THIS WEEKEND: The first step will be completed!! * Weather Permitting!!
CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE
Friday, March 24 – Sunday, March 26: 9AM-6PM
ATLDOT will be removing the major potholes and replacing with large concrete patches on Armour Drive at the underpass before you enter the Armour-Ottley district.
Traffic control will be present during the entire time as well as overnight to allow for the concrete to cure.
One lane of traffic will be open at all times.
Rain Dates if they need to postpone because of weather: Friday, March 31 – Sunday, April 2 |

Mindful Yoga at Midtown Psychotherapy in Armour Yards

Cheshire Bridge Updates
As a reminder, the two lanes that are currently open will be shifting as construction continues on Cheshire Bridge. The bridge will remain open from both directions, but be aware of lane shifts, along with flaggers helping to direct traffic. Slow, safe, and alert for the win! |
