Property Tax & Appeals

By now, you should have received your property assessment notice in the mail. You may also find your notice on the Assessor's website. This assessment is not your actual tax bill, which you will receive later this year.

If you do not agree with your assessed value, you have 45 days from the mailing of the assessment notice to submit a formal appeal and begin the process of contesting your property value. In most instances, the appeals deadline is Monday, August 1, 2022.

PHCA has worked with Walter Hotz to appeal our property taxes for Gotham Way Park – highly recommend Mr. Hotz and his appeal services!

Cheshire Bridge Rebuild

Check out this cool drone video footage of the Cheshire Bridge rebuild. They're finally getting started, with a projected completion date by October 31... let's hope it's a "treat" not a "trick" on Halloween!

New Art at Spalding Nix

The new exhibit, GROUNDED, features new paintings by Kerry Hays, Amanda Brazier, Evan Blackwell-Helgeson, and Julie Ferris. Opens Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.

And, this Saturday, check out the art stroll at the 12 galleries on Miami Circle.

Nakato, Origami, & Wishes

Throughout July, Nakato Japanese Restaurant will be donating 50% of all sales from their King Kong Roll and Godzilla Cocktail to Make-A-Wish Georgia.

Charity Golf Tournament
