Help Our Pelham Neighbors! You may have seen the closure of Piedmont Road between Pelham and Montgomery Ferry... resulting in TONS of cut-through traffic on our very residential Pelham Rd. at all hours of the day and night, along with safety issues and other problems. We've reached out to Councilmember Wan's office, along with others, to figure out WHAT IS GOING ON?! So far, we know there is a problem with utilities, and a fix may take three months. Who broke them and what exactly is the problem – we're still trying to figure that out. We'll keep you updated as we learn more, but don't hesitate to reach out to our representatives to speak your mind! In the meantime, call 911 if you see folks driving like maniacs on Pelham! And, of course, "drive like your kids/dogs live here."

Club Platinum Defers Again! Thanks to everyone who showed up at Monday's NPU-F meeting to make your voice heard regarding Club Platinum's alcohol license application. It was very frustrating to hear that they deferred again only hours before the meeting. So, mark your calendars for the next NPU-F meeting on Monday, April 18 at 7pm on Zoom. By the way, we sent an "extra" email about this issue bundled with the APS elementary potential rezoning issue over the weekend because we know these issues are important to our neighbors. Let us know if these "extra" reminders are helpful or annoying – we hate to "cry wolf" not knowing that some issues will be postponed at the last minute, so speak your mind. We do try to limit them and keep them to more pertinent issues.
